Watched Initial D with dorkodile
. Nothing beats watching a movie with people who can See the Slash, especially when you can go off with them later to write slash in Starbucks. XD I love the way that all of us watch the same movie and walk out of the theatre with completely different plots. As usual, abraxan
and I supported the same pairing. We've only broken our same-pairing trend once, and that was with Conrad/Yuuri.
And - I swear a slash fangirl got her hands on the subtitles and changed them all, because a lot of what was being said in Chinese had absolutely no relation to what was being said in English, and even when it did, it was distinctly - slashy.
: Slashy Initial D subtitles
What was actually being said: "I don't know where he is. He must be up to no good."
What the subtitles said: "I don't know where he is. He must be out being a rent boy."
What was actually being said: "I'm so angry! I'm so angry I could eat someone!" [Meaning, being absolutely furious]
What the subtitles said: "I'm a jerk! I jerk off, too!"
helped me translate this)
What was actually being said: "So the both of you are a pair!"
What the subtitles said: "So the both of you are gay!"
