Reborn - Yamamoto CHIBITA
elvaron, harajukufuuri, reisha, baka_neko and I are going to be at Play: A Video Game Symphony, and the program looks nothing short of absolutely fabulous. I can't wait. Give me a shout-out if you're gonna be there too! *grin* The program says it'll be featuring songs from Final Fantasy (oh yes!), Kingdom Hearts, Metal Gear Solid, Blue Dragon (♥!), HALO (RADIATES LOVE), World of Warcraft, Chrono Trigger & Chrono Cross, Silent Hill, Legend of Zelda, and more. After tonight I'm probably going to want to go home and commune with my gaming platforms. ♥

And the July issue of Dengeki Maou? Is gonna be so much love. We've gone through Aczelius/Aczeriuth, now we get ARAMIS WELL. ♥ (Not just yet, though, we've got Yulia City first). The very fact that

Kratos hits the cover should've indicated it was gonna be ALL KINDS OF GREAT AND WONDERFUL (the first installment of the Symphonia OVA is finally translated, and though there's no Zelos yet, it is GREAT), but in this issue,

GUESS WHO is finally grown-up enough to CUT HIS HAIR!
And all by himself, too! ♥

Man, when I saw that artwork I went: *melts* My baby's all grown up! before I realised quite what I was thinking.
15th-Jun-2007 09:12 am (UTC) - hide 'n seek with Milo O.o

Ooh! I read it on the website:

Outstanding graphics on large screens above the orchestra accompany the scores, highlighting memorable moments from the video games.

See? xD It'll make it even better~! You'll have so much fun! *hides in your pocket so I can join you!* xD

Ah, I don't remember why I went since it's (instrumental music) usually not my thing either. I totally did not regret spending crazy amounts of money going, though! LOTR's score is so beautiful that it doesn't need any vocals. :)

... I miss LOTR fandom now. ^^; It was so much fun to watch the oscars and root for them, and then that haunting song at the end. *wails*

HAVE SLEPT! Throwing up again. T.T Shhhh.
15th-Jun-2007 09:23 am (UTC) - Is it like Fun With Lin and Chris?
Dude! ;) I have kitty sense. I somehow just know instinctively when Milo's photograph is being posted anywhere I can set eyes on it. ;)

... how did he get in that box? And are you sending him to me? ♥ Did you put him there, or did he somehow jump in?

! HEE. MISSED THAT ONE. ;) I hope they play FF7 or FF12 music. That would be so great. And not just FFX, I will CRY if they do so.

I have no pockets on the clothes I'm wearing now! ;) But you are certainly free to hide elsewhere! ;)

xD I know why you went: because it was LOTR. :) *grin* Man, there was even a LOTR convention - you went to that one! And Niisan and I really wanted to go, but in the end, we didn't, for cost reasons.

HEE HEE HEE. I don't miss LOTR fandom. But then I never do seem to miss any fandom once I leave it. Because I've always found another one. ♥

D:! *snugs tight* Aw, sweetheart, I'm sorry to hear that! Feel better soon? *snug* Stay in bed and I hope that nasty moment stops soon. *snug*
15th-Jun-2007 09:37 am (UTC) - xD fun? you mean we have fun? xDD
HEE! Is it like a spidey-sense? xD

Milo: W-what?! HOW DID YOU FIND ME AGAIN?! This is not fair! >.>

Haha! I'm a magician! xD Err, nope. Milo sort of does whatever he wants - he wouldn't stay put if I dumped him in there. *laughs* Cats love hiding in boxes (and bags), though!

LOL! I think having a big screen to project things on is mandatory for symphonies now. O.o It's probably too boring without it. *ducks bricks*

But you are certainly free to hide elsewhere! ;)

Heh heh. We get our trilogy fix elsewhere now. ;) *dies laughing*

It's okay! I'm used to it by now. xD I just hate missing more classes.. So close to the exams, too. =/
15th-Jun-2007 10:49 am (UTC) - dude, either we have fun, or you are the biggest masochist I have ever met.
And sometimes I think you are the biggest masochist I have ever met. ;D

WHOA! That is ONE AMAZING PICTURE. It looks so dynamic and Milo looks like he's SURGING OUTTA THE FLOOR. Cool! ;)

Gotta work now, sweets, reply to the rest soon!
15th-Jun-2007 10:58 am (UTC) - xD we have more than fun, dude. we've seen elephants together. ;)
I completely agree with you there! Why else would I want to torture myself with these damn contacts? T.T I STILL CAN'T GET THEM IN!

LOL! Either you're very obsessed with Milo, or you're very good at pretending you like my pictures. xD *huggles!*

Work? xD I was wondering what happened to that! You're not sick, are you? =/
16th-Jun-2007 12:16 am (UTC) - and fed them bananas, too!
Nah, even when I'm sick I still go to work. >D

! I hope you manage to get your contacts in! Don't worry too much about it. Think BIG ANIME EYES and you'll get 'em in easier.

Your kitty is so cute. I don't need to pretend! ;) Friends and I were talking once about faking interest, and then I said faking interest was the easiest thing to fake. One of my friends said it was the hardest, and then when he said that I realised Man, what was I talking about? I know nuts about faking interest - because I never have to fake it. *laughs*
16th-Jun-2007 04:37 am (UTC) - ... elephant-dung. xD kekekeke.
LOL! I used to drag myself to school, too. I gave up after being sent home so many times. ;) Don't push yourself too far!

I FAIL AT IT! ^^;; I'm pretty sure I'm making BIG ANIME EYES but the contacts keep sticking to my finger and not going in. I'll keep trying... *wails*

Heh. You're too hyper and bubbly! xD No wonder you're interested in nearly everything. I have to admit I fake interest all the time, but then again I'm not interested in much. ^^;;
16th-Jun-2007 12:19 am (UTC) - I have a Cute Radar, Milo. I'll find you WHEREVER YOU ARE.
It's very much like a Spidey-sense. *grin* Except BETTER. Spidey-sense is for danger and evil people, mine is for fluff and cute things! ;)

Cats love hiding in boxes? ;) THAT'S SO CUTE. ♥ Ready to pounce at you, probably!

HAHAHAHA. I AGREE COMPLETELY. Symphonies, for me at least, tend to be generally fairly tedious things unless the music is lively and the performance animated. Last night's video game clips were cool, but I'd have loved them better if they hadn't thought it'd be a good idea to intercut the video games with close-ups of the orchestra. ZZZZ.

Our trilogy fix = Spider-man? ;)
16th-Jun-2007 04:22 am (UTC) - *yawn* ... not sure where he is right now, actually. ^^;
Oh! I have one, too! It is called the aefallen-sense, and it is only for evil people who stalk and annoy you. ;)

fhldjdlqjskqjsk! LET ME BITCH. You KNOW what I am talking about, don't you. >.>

If I had a Milo-sense, I would not trip over him that much! CAN YOU TEACH ME? ;)

Awwwww! They had close-ups of the orchestra for the LOTR symphonies too, but it didn't bother me too much. I hope you still enjoyed it, though? ^^;

Our trilogy fix: Spider-man, definitely! AND POTC! I'm sure there's more but it's only 6am... *snores!* xD

16th-Jun-2007 10:25 am (UTC) - aw, babe! *snug*
*laughs* I know what you mean. I thought that changing my layout would sort-of reduce that sort of thing a little, because that sort of behavior only happens to me with regard to Abyss, so I thought if people thought I was less into it, I'd get bothered less. So far it hasn't actually worked. I may have to talk exclusively about law for two months in a row! But why do people think I have all the answers or know where everything is?! I haven't been keeping up to date on Abyss much at all.

Aw, he just wants to be close to you and therefore ALWAYS UNDERFOOT! Milo wants you to FALL FOR HIM! ;)

I still enjoyed it! *smiles* The Warcraft music was actually surprisingly good, however much I resent the online aspect of that game. ;)

*laughs!* Hope you got more sleep, sweets!
16th-Jun-2007 04:13 pm (UTC) - GROWL!
I DON'T KNOW HOW YOU CAN STAND IT. I really wish you would let me bitch at people like that for you. It's beatter than Tae Bo! xD

If you only talked about law, they would STILL find a way to ask you these things. "Back in January, you posted a picture of Luke wearing a helmet! WHERE IS THAT FROM? Can I have your layout, by the way? Thanks! xD OH, AND DON'T FORGET TO REPLY TO MY COMMENT FROM MARCH 2006, KTHXBYE!" Seriously. O.o

Even I get the idea when you reply to everyone else's comments except mine. Slow on the uptake much? ^^;;

Oh, then it's a good thing that I'm not the only one falling for him! xD I really wish you would come back to Belgium just to meet him. He starts purring when you just look at him. He'd love you so much! *g*

HEE! Be careful, Chris! First you like the music - then before you know it... T.T

I did not! :) Started making adjustments for MJ's costume this morning~! I still have an extra sweater, if you want to cosplay for the HP release? Are you going to Kino or to Borders? ^^; I'll e-mail you if that's okay? I need someone to preorder for me, I think. =/
16th-Jun-2007 05:21 pm (UTC) - laughs!
Not everyone is as perceptive as you, sweets. ;) And you are quite right about them still finding a way to ask me about those things, too. Ah, well. I think once I go away from Abyss people will naturally stop paying attention. I mean, there are lots of other Abyss fans in the sea. ;)

He's so adorable! And what do you mean falling for him? I fell for him long ago: pretty soon after I learned his name was Glorfindel and saw his kitty photograph for the first time. ;) And he purrs when you look at him? COULD HE BE ANY MORE LOVE. ♥

No time for Warcraft, sweets - and you know how strongly I feel about it. *grin* Playing Abyss for 100 hours kind of turned me off intensively-loving computer games for a while.

Heh, I'm really not very keen on the HP release: I think I'll wait til the first-week frenzy dies down, flip through the book at the bookstore, and then decide whether it's worth ordering. I really don't want to spend $47 on a Harry Potter hardback book: I'll only get it if there's a significant and substantial discount such that it's about $22 or so. Otherwise I'll just flip through it in the bookstore and then buy it later when the price comes down. I'm suffering from Potter fatigue, really, it's been too many movies and too much talk for me. Not too keen on cosplaying for the HP release either, since the July Cosfest will have been over just the week before, and I overdose on these kinds of events sometimes. I'm going to neither Kino or Borders, actually - I'm not pre-ordering (never have) - I'll only buy it if the book is good.

I used to prefer Borders to Kino because you could sit there and read, but now they're strict about that and only let you sit in the (noisy and messy) kids' section or on the (very few) allocated benches and seats. But you're going to attend the book launch with sarahcoldheart and sodiumion, right? Do you want to find out which bookstores they're going to order from and order from the same bookstores as them, so you can all go together? Maybe they might be able to help you pre-order, too? I mean, you are going with them, right?
16th-Jun-2007 05:52 pm (UTC)
Perceptive? xD It's called COMMON SENSE. *laughs*

.. I have no words. NO WORDS! The whole copy/pasting previous comments completely broke my brains. T.T

This Glorfindel thing is going to bite me in the Asch forever, isn't it? ^^;;

Heh, I escaped the Potter fatigue! I didn't think I would be this excited about the last book, but I've been reading them since I was 12... I've always wanted to go to one of the releases, but with the only English bookstore here being in Brussels (and a dodgy neighbourhood >.>) I never really got to go before. I'm really looking forward to this. :)

I'm definitely going with sarahcoldheart! I was just wondering if you'd come along since books are your thing. xD I knew you probably wouldn't feel like dressing up for it, but it's really surprising to hear you're not going at all. O.o I'm not sure about sodiumion, because she's in a different group? I don't know how these things work. sarahcoldheart said she'd post about it soon, so I'm waiting for that. xD

If you want I can borrow you my book if you read quickly? xD I'm not planning on reading it until I get on the plane. Seems like a good way to spend 12 hours to me. ^^;
16th-Jun-2007 06:08 pm (UTC) - ... LJ ate 70% of my comment. REPOST!
You're in fandom, sweets, you should know that common sense in this world is not at all a common thing. >D

Oh sob. My kokoro is tired, because ignoring doesn't seem to work well in this case, and every other option which will be effective feels too cruel to me. Their persistence outweighs my ability to ignore, because I usually become too annoyed to ignore it any longer. But paying attention only makes it go on for longer.

I still think you should have kept his name as Glorfindel. D
16th-Jun-2007 06:09 pm (UTC) - ... it ate my comment again! I POST IN PARTS
I can live with the Milo name because he's so cute, and because I think of Heroes!Milo. I try not to think of the powdered drink, because it makes me sad that such a gloriously adorable creature could be named after COCOA POWDER.

I read my first Potter book when I was thirteen. *grin* I couldn't get what the whole fuss about it was for the longest time - until I read a friend's copy of it.

I'm glad you're looking forward to it! Heh. Books are definitely my thing, but paying $47 for a JKR book which I'm not even sure I'm going to like enough to want to pay money for is another thing entirely. I didn't buy Order of the Phoenix for the longest time because I was so annoyed by its ending. And I only own Half-Blood Prince because my mom bought it for me.

I'm so-so about book launches: I've attended them before in the UK, but I only get really excited if it's for an author I really love and respect, or a book I'm really looking forward to, and JRK and Harry Potter are neither of these things. I want to know what happens, sure, but I'm not on fire with enthusiasm. I don't want to go because I know it's going to be insane with crowds, and while I am very fond of crowds, crowds for Potter books and waiting in line for a Potter book = very different thing altogether.

Oh, sweets, I don't mean to rain on your parade, but I'm not very interested in Potter anything at all. I think it's cute that you are, though!

HEH HEH HEH. I read very quickly. I finished the Half-Blood Prince in about seven hours on a flight to London. ;)
