You should be able to find an angel pic at http://www.theminifacesofewan.com

I asked the site owners, Nettie and Nada, if I could make my Christmas cards out of the angel pic - they kindly said yes. I was so pleased. :)

Thank you! *smiles* And pardon the exceedingly late reply!

Thank you for the site link! ; ) I found it while on my endless search, and thought the cigarette-smoking angel deeply amusing, but didn't think to look further into the gallery. Many thanks for the assistance! ; )

And your Christmas cards were an excellent idea! ; )

*hugs you* *is honoured* Thank you! ; ) Take any and all icons you like! *beams*

Oh yes, I loved "Winter Rose"! ; ) It was one of the first books of hers I found in England! ; ) She's got a new one out - Alphabet of Thorn. I have most of them, and I'd be happy to lend them to you when next we meet back home ^_^

*blushes* Pardon my taking so long to reply! Most of my fonts come from www.dafont.com, and the ones I use regularly are Scriptina (a beautiful flowing calligraphy font), Redensek (a pixel-esque digital font I see on many icons), Stonehenge (a very LOTR font XD). I should put up a post on making icons soon! ; ) Got to share the links! ; )

The brushes I pick up from all over the place. What I normally do is search for Adobe brushes, then download them and install them into my computer. ^_^ saava evidently makes a fair number of brushes. dtissagirl is another one to look out for. And arwen_elvenfair makes lots of lovely bases. ^_^

What I like to do is go to the Memories of those LJ-users who make good icons, and search for icon tutorials. ; ) They usually bookmark the good icon tutorials, and link people/posts with brush sites/icon tutorials. XD

You make so many pretty icons! You seem like you have so many songs! Er. ~_~;;; I mean so much time.

Don't know why I typed that. Watching The Simpsons but they're not saying anything about songs.

21st-Mar-2004 04:58 pm (UTC) - *smiles* Pardon the late reply! *hides*
For my icons I use Adobe ImageReady and Adobe Photoshop, both the 7.0 versions. But I download a great many fonts from www.dafont.com, and I download just as many brushes ; ) Check out the memories of saava and dtissagirl - they link quite a few good icon tutorials and brush sites. ^_^
