Went for a medical checkup in the morning. Why do I always see so many babies at Gleneagles?
Massive queue in front of hospital due to SARS screening.
That said, we're off the WHO list.
While at hospital, saw what have to be the silliest signs ever:
[With the exception of the one at the Dhoby Gaut MRT station, which is a massive sign, tacked up on a wall, which says: Beware of Wall.]
"Please Wait For Lift."
(As if we have a choice?)
"Beware of Door Opening."
(Doors must have Another Purpose of which I am yet unaware.)
Then went to Suntec City with Mom and bro. Ate pumpkin soup at Soupworks - that is, I smuggled it into Subway and ate it while Mom and bro did the Right Thing - eat where you're seated ;)
Went to wander about and bro called me to let me know that Carol Berg's Song of the Beast is out in bookstores!
I loved her Rai-Kirah series, so I went to look at this book and bought it :) This is a book about a man who can create music from dragon song. I never thought to read a book about dragons, but for this author, I'll make an exception.
Did the usual - when book got too exciting, I skipped until I managed to resolve my panic. *laughter* For some curious reason, I cannot enjoy a book until I know how it will end. I'd be panicking and not reading the lines. ;)
Then went to dinner with the extended family. Legolas-liking cousin gleefully brought me a doctored Harry Potter picture. She gave Snape long golden hair and a pink bow, McGonagall a jester's cap, Ron Pebbles' Flintstone's hair (Considering his hair is fiery, and so is hers - it's appropriate), and gave Harry a blue Viking helmet with a scarlet heart upon it. Derived much glee from my ensuing shrieks, so I dutifully entertained her with my indignation. She says half the fun of making/thinking up such things is anticipating my reaction. I wonder why.

Quiet day at home today. Spent most of it finishing the 8,185 word Ratal High fic. I had no idea fluff could be this exhausting.
I seem to do most of my intensive writing on Sunday afternoons. And evenings.
I wrote most of this fic on a Chamber of Secrets Poster. I wonder if this had anything to do with the content.
*smiles and glomps ranchelle for making this lovely quiz.
That said, I must be being influenced by Serry. How else could I have gotten this result? ;)
A witty and sarcastic person, his wry sense of
humour seems to bring some spice into what may
seem to be a very boring orc army camp. He
also has a tendency to be knocked on the head
by message orbs sent by the people on top.
